Pro Poker Player

In the summer of 2007, Lee gave up his career as a marketing professional at one of Massachusetts largest biotechnology companies to become a professional poker player.

Lee’s first taste of high profile success came when he finished 13th in the 2005 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event and became the year’s top New England finisher. Since then he has amassed more than $2 million in career earnings, including three titles:

1) the $600 no-limit hold’em shoot-out Champion in 2008, and
2) the $2,000 no-limit hold’em event Champion in 2007 and
3) the $5,000 no-limit hold’em event Champion in 2006, remarkably all three events in three consecutive years at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Foxwoods World Poker Finals.

Additionally, he has cashed in other World Poker Tour (WPT) and WSOP circuit events including his 4th place finish at the February 2008 WSOP Circuit Main Event and 11th place finish at the 2007 Gulf Coast Poker Main Event Championship.

A proud family man, Lee’s wife and two children are an important part of his tournament play. As featured on ESPN during the 2005 WSOP, Lee kisses pictures of his family before each level of play and every major confrontation. This portrayal left an indelible impression among poker fans and fellow players alike.
